Exterior The Sunset Orange Metallic (71) exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an excellent gloss, deep shine, and smooth glass-like finish. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. Also, this car has never been in any type of accident. The AutoCheck report also shows no accident history, which was confirmed by the previous owner as well. The original SS wheels are in excellent condition with a brilliant finish and no curb rash. A set of brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires were just installed on the car by the previous owner, please note that these are the correct replacements for the original Goodyears installed on the car new. The original tires were replaced simply due to age and for safety, not for wear. Often many Camaros will have particularly chipped up front ends; this car does not and even the low front spoiler is in great condition as one can see in the photos. Both bumpers are in very nice shape with no spider-webbing or flaking paint. The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos with no tears, rips, or excessive wear. The driver's seat is not worn in the typical spot on the bolster of the driver's seat where the driver gets in and out. The carpet also looks like new with no stains, tears, or holes. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look excellent. This car has never been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma of cigarettes what-so-ever. Camaro interiors from this time period are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this all original interior is a huge testament to the detailed care and attention this SS has received throughout its life. The trunk is complete with the space saver spare, jack, and SS car cover. Please note that even the original T-Tops shade inserts are still with the car and included in the sale. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. Mechanical This Camaro SS is in excellent mechanical condition. It is an amazing driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds; it runs and drives just like you would expect from a vehicle with only 9,780 miles that is like new. The car starts right away every time, idles smooth, and runs well. In the video in this ad one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the Camaro performs quite well overall. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. The shifter is tight, does not pop out of gear, and the clutch feels great. No modifications have been made or added to this car and it is just how it left the factory. It has never been tracked or raced. Also, the engine is clean, beautifully detailed, complete, correct, and original as one can see from the photos. Everything on this car works properly and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The horn works as do the indicators, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, power seats in all directions, and blower for the heater and a/c on all speeds. The a/c works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Please note in the video that all of the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. This Camaro SS has a ton of power and handles like it is on rails. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this vehicle, especially with 6-Speed manual transmission and the T-Tops out on a beautiful day.
