This is one of just thirty-six Blue Train Edition cars and it was awarded First in Class at the 2017 Rolls Royce Owners Club national meet in French Lick, Indiana. The Arnage T was developed to be more sporting than the Arnage R. With a 0-60 time of 5.8 seconds, the Arnage T was claimed to be the fastest production saloon in the world at its launch. The Arnage T has a 6,750 cc twin-turbo V8 rated at 450bhp and 645 lb ft of torque. It has the GM 4L80-E four-speed automatic gearbox. The LegendOn Thursday the 13th of March in 1930, at 6 p.m., Woolf Barnato, Chairman of Bentley Motors, and his secretary, Dale Bourne, left the Carlton Bar in Cannes, and got into Barnatos Speed Six Bentley to see if they could get to London before the famous Blue Train. Driving through the night, they reached Boulogne at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, catching the 11:35 boat to Folkestone. Arriving there just after 1 p.m., they reached the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall at 3:30, 15 minutes before the Blue Train pulled into Calais. Of the 786-mile drive, Barnato said later that Any woman could have done the same thing without discomfort, and indeed they probably could, in a Speed Six Bentley.The 2019 Pebble Beach Concours will be celebrating the Bentley Centennial.
