Used 2013 Shelby GT350 for sale in Charlotte, NC
For more than 50 years the name Shelby has adorned some of the most coveted cars ever produced. So, when Shelby American announces plans to build a scorching rendition of Ford's latest and greatest Mustang, it should come as no surprise that classics like this rare GT350 are instantly collectable. One of only 36 2013 Shelby GT350s produced, and 1 of only 3 GT350 coupes sprayed in Ford Black paint, this Mustang is a super exclusive thoroughbred that's seen only 2,027 miles of limited road use. Looking for a unique muscle car that's fast, reliable, virtually unused and capable of holding more than its own when it comes to everyday performance? Look no further than this fantastic Shelby!
Dressing a rich layer of Black 2-stage in sinister Shelby stripes and an optional GT500 spoiler, this spotless Mustang has seen meticulous care since new. As with all this era's Shelby GT350s, the car's upgrades were performed by Shelby Automobiles of Las Vegas, Nevada. Like most of our low-mileage, garage-fresh pieces, its body presents as new in every conceivable way. That body's sinuous panels are straight, solid and, per CARFAX, have no history of accidents or damage of any kind. And a close look down this Ford's buff fuselage reveals world-class finishing that's far nicer than any piecemeal third party build.
Created as a turnkey package for enthusiasts who want a reliably engineered Mustang that unlocks the full potential of Ford's legendary Coyote V8, this stellar GT350 utilizes a Ford Racing whipple supercharger to crank out an impressive 525 horsepower! Front-and-center, the car's polished blower makes excellent use of a Ford Racing cold air induction system. At the sides of the engine, dynamic Shelby coil covers join an array of Shelby caps and fluid reservoirs to dress things up a bit. And, as with all Shelby specialties, this Mustang proudly displays a small Shelby American badge that verifies its authenticity.
As most performance car fans already know, this Mustang's D2C chassis is nothing short of excellent. And with choice Shelby bolt-ons, it sticks to the corners like the high-speed luge winner at the 2014 Winter Olympics. The firm's upgrades began with a Shelby/Ford Racing suspension, which includes a Watt's Link rear-clip, progressed to Shelby/Wilwood brakes and ended with Shelby alloy wheels. Behind the smooth engine, a tough Getrag 6-speed sends power to a limited-slip differential and big, 3.73 gears. At the corners of the car, the aforementioned Wilwoods, which happen to be red-detailed, 6-piston units up front, squeeze giant drilled and slotted rotors behind standard Shelby ducts. Turns come courtesy of Ford's super-efficient power-assisted steering. Exhaust flows through large-diameter pipes to throaty Borla mufflers and polished stainless tips. Naturally, Ford's standard ABS and AdvanceTrac traction control systems are present and accounted for. And all this first-class speed and agility rides on the aforementioned Shelby alloys, which spin 265/40ZR19 Goodyear Eagle F1s.
Inside this 'stang, heated Katzkin seats, which feature 6-way power adjustment for the car's driver, center retro accents in contrasting stitching. Opposite those thrones, a familiar Mustang dash hangs satin-trimmed telemetry beneath integrated AutoMeter A-pillar gauges. Below those vitals, crisp Shaker audio, complete with SYNC infotainment, tops cool factory climate control. Below those amenities, a Shelby-dressed console frames a short Shelby shifter. And the driver spins a tilting, leather-wrapped steering wheel that's equipped with Cruise Control and redundant audio buttons.
With its stout V8, world-class drivetrain and roster of desirable options, this Mustang delivers astounding performance with a surprising amount of luxury. And with its incredibly low mileage, top-notch exclusivity and show-stopping good looks, it's the kind of car you buy, enjoy on weekends and hang on to for a long time. Want to own some of Ford and Shelby's best work? Here's your chance!
