Vehicle Description
This 1963 Jaguar XKE is a non-running Series I roadster that was originally manufactured in December 1962 and dispatched to New York the following month. The car reportedly has been off the road for more than 30 years and was acquired by the seller from its long-term previous owner in June 2016. A 4.2-liter inline-six and a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox have since been installed, while the disassembled matching-numbers 3.8-liter engine is also included in the sale. The exterior has been coated in primer, and body repairs were completed under previous ownership, while further cosmetic and mechanical work are necessary to bring it to driving condition. This XKE project is now offered with a disassembled 3.8-liter engine, spare parts, receipts from some of the cosmetic work, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller's name.
