This classic 1969 Dodge A100 V8 custom pickup is a real life "Hot Wheels." The Dodge A100 is a range of American compact vans and trucks manufactured from 1964-1970 by the Chrysler Corporation. The A100 competed with the Ford Econoline and Chevrolet Corvair pickups. Placing the driver on top of the front axle with the engine near the front wheels is called a "cab over" vehicle. As the VIN indicates this is a 1969 Dodge A100 Pickup with an 8-cylinder engine that was built at the Warren, MI plant. Only 2,235 were built with the 8-cylinder engine, which makes this a special piece. This pickup was completely restored in 2012. The body is extremely straight and it has a high show-quality paint job. The yellow and orange paint scheme was brilliantly designed.
