Nineteen seventy-two saw a handful of changes, including increased engine displacement to 2.4 litres (with the 911 T engine producing 140 bhp with MFI), the addition of a new Type 915 five-speed gearbox, and an 80-litre fuel tank. Delivered new to Portugal in October of 1971, it was finished in Aubergine (4040) over a black leather interior. Still retaining its original engine, the car was equipped with optional alloy wheels, Koni shocks, tinted glass all around, headrests, and a Blaupunkt multi-band radio. Presently, the attractive black bodywork is complemented by red leather upholstery. The 911 T gave terrific value for the price and is widely considered a performance bargain. This would be a wonderful car to drive and enjoy.
