It boasted a refined version of the M1's 3.5-litre 24-valve six-cylinder engine capable of producing 286 bhp and was mated to a five-speed gearbox. Accordingly, the E24's brakes, suspension and weight distribution were all altered to adjust for the increase in power, and a limited-slip differential was also fitted. Top speed was quoted as being in excess of 250 km/h and the M635CSi could sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in roughly six seconds. Finished in Alpinweiss II over a beige cloth interior, this M635CSi presents beautifully throughout, in accordance with its odometer reading of 97,734 at the time of cataloguing, clearly having been very well kept from new.
