This street-going version of the legendary rally car counterpart comes with a turbocharged 2.0L 16-valve four sending power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. This particular EVO II comes from Japan with only 68k kilometers (42k miles) and currently has a clean Texas title. Due to strict yearly road inspections, cars from Japan are very well maintained and in February of 18 this car had new timing belt, tensioner belts and tires installed. The only aftermarket parts on the vehicle are the stainless exhaust (rear section) and an aftermarket JDM stereo with a cassette up front and a six-pack CD changer in the trunk. The car starts, idles, runs and handles like it should and is in overall excellent mechanical condition. Steering is tight, braking is confident and no mechanical or electrical issues are noted. The Bianca (white) paint shows very well with only a few minor stone chips located in the front, while the body shows straight with no door dings. The doors, hatch and hood open and close as they should and the grille is in wonderful shape. All glass and lenses are free from chips and fog and also has the original Lancia stickers intact. There are no stress cracks on this car and the front windshield area and roof are free from rust, which are known trouble areas on these vehicles. The stock 16 inch wheels are also fitted with brand new tires. Tan Alcantara interior is original and in very good condition with the only visible wear at the seat bolsters. Rear cabin and door panels are also in excellent condition. The dashboard shows in great shape with every gauge and light in working condition with the stock Momo wheel also showing perfect. As mentioned, there is an aftermarket JDM stereo with a cassette up front and a six pack CD changer in the trunk, with some slots working and others not. The rear area and package shelf are untouched and the stock spare and tool kit are inlcuded with the car. The EVO II is a rare gem to find stateside and to find one in such original, prestine condition is all the more rare. This model comes with a full history of maintence paperwork (in Japanese) and comes from a single owner in Japan before being imported into the states last year.
