Vehicle Description
This van has a story for sure. I flew up to MA last year to buy her. It has gotten me through a 3,000+ mile trip in Ontario last year in Canada. I had no issues. It's in very good condition mechanically despite needing brakes and rotors now. Two of the back windows (the long ones were replaced) for the ultimate seal. This van has some rust issues, but will get you through some years with amazing life changing experiences. This will always be a project van. It either needs a front window replacement or seal redone to stop a current leak in the front that is causing rust to accumulate near the driver side. This can be repaired, but needs TLC ASAP. I like to be honest about the van with you as I know how it feels to purchase things that may not have been how an ad was. I'm transparent.
This is a diesel vehicle. It has two Renogy 200 Watt solar panels with many features. Full electrical setup, although you will need new batteries. This is a setup where the alternator recharges the back battery for the electrical in addition to the solar that recharges the battery. It had over 5g of mechanical work done to it in 2021. This van is steal regardless as the engine has very little miles on it (different than the odometer reading as the engine was stored at a warehouse where they keep the best engines ever made). It has a huge R value on the floor as it was made in mind to sit in the snow. The wall on the other side was recently redone with heavy fiberglass.
The title is clean. I recently peeled off old sealant on the top of the van and redid it the right way with heavy rustoleum in certain parts and gave it a little white coat. It took me over 3 hours to do it.
It comes with many items that I will be throwing in such as:
1) diesel heater brand new($1300 worth)
2) unopened memory foam mattress
3) nice sink and facet ($150+)
4) water tanks
5) ball and socket parts ($100+)
6) have plastic molds that I took off
7) 2 packages of unopened pine paneling ($100)
8) lovelock tool
9) Rustoleum and many cleaning products, unopened sealants ($300)
10) camper portable potty (One of those popular ones, $150)
11) Spare tire
I'm in no rush to sell the van and will wait for the right buyer. No lowballs. I'd suggest someone who knows cars well to look at it. No free rides, cash in hand if you want to drive it on the highway.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
