Vehicle Description
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m putting my commuter up for sale. I purchased this used when I lived out in California to help keep miles off my Alfa. It turned out to be an amazing vehicle for both commuting and city purposes. Seeing how I have neither of those to contend with anymore I’ve decided to part ways with it as now it mostly sits. I do not have to sell it so low ball offers will be ignored. The title is free and clear in my name.
Good:
-Californian car. Never seen snow let alone salt.
-manual transmission. Need I say more?
-51,000 miles. Most of the examples I found when shopping for one of these had north of 100k on the clock
-I changed all fluids when I first acquired her. Spark plugs last oil change. Oil every 5k including the multiair filter.
-replaced the steering coupler (common issue on these)
-newer fire hawk tires
-brand new KW coilovers (alignment performed when installed)
-upgraded larger rear torsion bar
-upgraded stainless turbo back exhaust with muffler. Sounds really good. Quieter and no more popopopopop on downshifts
-upgraded front mount intercooler
-upgraded diverter valve
-factory rubber mats throughout (see pictures)
-factory Abarth sun shade
-a bunch of factory goodies come with (see photo) including rear hitch mount (not installed or pictured)
Bad:
-just noticed the other day that the ac system really isn’t putting out like it use to. It was gradually declining when I lived out west but I didn’t pay attention to it. The compressor is kicking on just not putting out as well as it did. Probably just needs a recharge.
-the rims. It was a city car for the prior owners and it shows with the rims. They all have been curbed at some point.
-bumpers. Again, being a city car there’s light scuffs on the rear bumper (pictured). The front bumper is better but I removed the front license plate bracket (which I still have and will go with the car) and there’s wear along with the mounting holes (pictured).
-wear on the radio buttons (pictured). Also wear on the shifter nob, but I have a new replacement.
Overall it’s in great shape with only minor cosmetic issues. The only problem I ever had was the coolant overflow tank started to leak very slowly. I have since installed a new factory unit to correct this. I personally put a little over 15k on it and enjoyed every bit of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to hop in it right now and drive it anywhere. I’m not interested in any trades of any kind, sorry. Not removing or selling any parts separately. Also firm on my price. Being a Californian car you’d be hard pressed to find one in better overall shape. Any other questions feel free to ask.
