Vehicle Description
Fully converted short school bus ready for a long road trip or for a fresh conversion -
We recently converted this bus and took it 7,000 miles around the country over the last four months. We're getting ready for the next adventure, but this beast of a skoolie belongs out on the open road!
We have totally bomb-proofed the 6.5L diesel, replaced the tires and completed a lot of other maintenance. This bus took us from NC to South Florida, back up to Kentucky, all the way to Montana down to New Mexico, through Texas and back. I would hop in this bus and drive to California tomorrow.
All the juicy details are listed below. For more information or to come take a look, email Derek at the post email.
We did a lot of work to the bus and engine and have all the paperwork in hand showing when and what has been done.
The bus has a clean North Carolina HC (House Car is NC designation for a motorhome or RV) title in hand (We navigated all the red tape at the DMV already). It's very easy to insure. You could buy one day and hit the road the next. I've done the math with more than 50 diesel receipts, and the bus gets between 11-14 miles per gallon.
