Vehicle Description
2015 Ford Transit 150 Camper Van
105k Miles
Runs Flawlessly. 0 mechanical issues !
I purchased this van a year and a half ago as a used former utility van and did all the conversion myself
Van Includes :
AC POWER / ELECTRICTY
650W power inverter with separate battery stored behind drivers seat with running electricity wired throughout the van
Battery self charges as engine runs and will stay powered for about 45 minutes after engine is turned off
Toggled with aux switch in the front cab
I also have 3 200W Renorgy Solar Panels , with seperate inverter etc I am happy to include in purchase if you’d like
I have installed them yet but they’re available for you if you want
The current 650W power source has been plenty to power computers, phones etc
I recommend installing solar to have continuous power if interested in having fridge etc.
FULLY INSULATED
I used Havlock Wool to thoroughly insulate all the walls , ceiling, and doors
This wool is entirely safe and environmentally friendly
Keeps living area insulated and helps combat heat on those hot summer days
The hardwood floor is safely insulated as well
HARDWOOD FLOORS
These vinyl hardwood floors sit ontop of a sturdy subfloor and thick insulation to keep you cozy
Easy to sweep and looks great
KITCHEN
The kitchen area has 3 compartments
One is sized to fit a mini fridge which isn’t installed yet
I’ve been using a cooler in this compartment and it is well protected so ice lasts a while in that area
Second compartment can be used for trash can /storage etc whatever works best for you
I used it for trash can area
3rd compartment has 3 shelves to stock food or plates/pots/pans whatever you like
The top is a dark stained polished countertop
I’m happy to include a 2 burner Colman propane stove if you’d like in the purchase
This method has a full kitchen come out and is easily stowed away to use desk space for whatever else you see fit
LIGHTS
Battery powered remote control overhead lights line the living space
You can toggle from white working light to tons of mood lights like red blue green etc
OVERHEAD CABINETS
Two overhead cabinets equipped with locks keep you’re stuff safe as you drive
With one divider I used this for dry food and hygiene products etc
DRESSER
Under the bed is a deep two shelf dresser with a custom carved palm tree on the front door
I stashed all my clothing and expensive camera equipment in this area
HAT HOOKS/ GUITAR HOLDER
3 Hat hooks live on the wall by the sliding door as well as a instrument hook on the driver side rear door
I’ve hung guitars , ukuleles, and a mandolin from this hook no problem
BED
This bed frame is a 69x72”
Approx a full size bed with a cut to size 8”memory foam mattress
There is an additional 2” memory foam topper sitting on the mattress as well with 10” total memory foam
Very cozy
GARAGE AREA
Tons of storage lives underneath the bed
Open the back doors and you’ll see a hatch door protecting your belongings
There is a bunji system that keep the door open when using garage area with tons of space for everything you need on the road with you
MAXX AIR FAN
There’s a maxx air fan installed right over the bed
Lever opens and closes hatch but I usually prefer to keep it open
Even if it rains you stay dry and protected with good air flow
Electrical wires are ran to back or van but have yet to be connected to the battery terminal
With very low electrical pull this fan has multiple modes when powered
Simply having it there and with the hatch open has been plenty air flow for me thus far, though a simple wire extension to the battery will improve this even more
BACKUP CAMERA
Rear camera turns on in rear view mirror when car is in reverse. Also has a reverse beeping system engaged
My mechanic said it’d be a quick fix to silent it if you wish , I just have found it useful and have left it in
CONS
There is some light dings and scratches in the paint job on the exterior but no leaks or fundemental problems there
Gas Cap lid is on but the little door opening the gas cap has fallen off which I found is super common for the models for some reason
Not a 4x4 but a very reliable and durable vehicle
Be careful not to park in too deep of sand or go to far off the path that you find yourself in a pickle
I haven’t added any extra windows yet but I left the sliding door untouched as if I don’t sell it, I’ll add a big window on the door for just a couple hundred bucks
There’s a lot to this van , she’s an awesome vehicle and I’m selling her mainly in an effort to move in the next few months
If she doesn’t sell I’ll just take her with me but if this looks like something you’d be interested in shoot me an email and we’ll set up a time for a viewing
Aloha!
