Vehicle Description
Selling a 98 manual Honda Civic. Great car with amazing gas mileage. I’ve put a lot into it. Currently at 198,000 miles. The one thing it needs is an ignition switch change. I got an awd van more fit for my lifestyle so it’s not worth it to me to put more $ into it, would rather just sell as is. According to my mechanic for this year make and model you have to get the whole steering kit to change the ignition switch.
So that’s the downside. But other than that it drives smooth and runs great.
It’ll need the ignition switch replaced to drive long term because it will randomly turn off, I have to jiggle the ignition and try a couple times and it turns on again. If you know how to replace the ignition switch without the whole steering kit than more power to you!
Saying obo for convenience (am super busy), but I’m still on the fence if I want to keep it because of how great the mpg is so not desperate. But feel free to make an offer.
Welcome to come check it out and see what I mean! These older Civics are sweet cars.
New water pump, timing belt, brakes, and shocks. Clean oil. No coolant leaks. As you can see there are a couple minor dents in the body.
Feel free to ask questions.
