Vehicle Description
This is the ultimate Jeep Cherokee. This rare 2-door Jeep Cherokee with factory manual trans and factory 4WD (this was likely a special order) was purchased in late 2017, and has since been completely restored. Just about everything is brand new, and this is meant to be a highly practical driver should you choose to drive it everyday. Classic SUV's are on the rage, as they don't make them like this anymore, and are never making them like this again.
Outside you will find a satin-like semi-gloss paint that is scratch resistant (should you take it off-road), and looks very cool. Trim pieces contrast the custom paint with a deep black look that comes from a special 2k clear coat. On the inside, the original interior has been reworked with suede, leather, and tweed. The leather was cut from full hides. It's the real deal. In the winter or cool spring, you will find the automotive-grade tweed is quite comfortable and warm.
Under the hood is a 4.7L stroker that was rebuilt professionally with a few other internal upgrades, including a performance cam shaft. This is mated to a custom dual exhaust system with headers, a government certified catalytic converter, and twin glasspacks. The transmission is a 5 speed manual that makes this an exciting and sporty car to drive---it can easily lay rubber. The motor, transmission, t-case, and driveshafts all have a little over 1,000 miles on them. The axles are one of the few things on the car that have not been rebuilt or replaced, but they were flushed out and serviced, and are known for their long service life. All bushings and most suspension parts have been replaced as well. All AC parts are new, and the heater-core was also replaced.
Other cool features include the fog lamps mated to the original factory switch, a spare that has been sized matched to the larger tires, one-off custom grill, and sliding "freedom top" roof that retracts at the push of a button. WeatherTech floor liners in the front, second row, and trunk. The soundsystem has been upgraded with a new Bluetooth-enabled unit that looks factory (RetroSound) and JBL speakers/sub. It has been lifted 1.5~2 inches to accommodate the larger tires. Stiffer leafs in the rear mean that this Jeep handles better than stock, and you should have no problem mounting a dirt-bike to the rear on your next camping adventure.
**PLEASE EMAIL ME IF INTERESTED**
**The Jeep is currently in the paintshop having a few touch ups done, and will need a few more finishing touches before it is ready to be transferred to a new owner, but it should be ready in the next couple weeks. Will add more photos if a buyer has not been found.**
***Transportation/delivery options available for out-of-town buyers!***
