Vehicle Description
For sale is my kick-ass Volvo XC90 3.2 AWD. Why kick-ass you ask? Well, it depends on your definition of kick-ass, but this XC90 has been very well maintained and cared for. It has 117,xxx miles, and I am the second owner. Never any accidents - Carfax is clean and all original VIN stickers are in place.
It has been maintained solely by the best Volvo specialist in Mass - WCS Automotive in Rockland. I have spared no expense maintaining this car - in the past year, I've replaced the front struts with quality Sachs replacements, as well as the driveshaft pinion bearing (a common failure and one of the XC's only known weak points). Oil is changed every 5K miles.
All - and I mean all - accessories work as intended. A/C is ice cold and does NOT need periodic recharges - the HVAC system is tight and leak free. Two issues for a potential buyer: I believe it will need front brakes soon. Although it stops perfectly fine, I am noticing a slight vibration when braking from highway speeds. Depending on timing, I will try to get the rotors and pads replaced. If I can't get that done in time, I will include a set of quality front pads and rotors with the sale. The only other consideration is that the XC uses a quart of oil every 5K miles, though this has not changed during my ownership, and the car does not leak a drop - the drivetrain is bone-dry. I have been assured by my Volvo tech that this oil consumption is well within spec. I bring this up so that the new owner is aware and will continue to be diligent about checking/adding oil as needed, as I have been. One final note - this XC does not have the third row option.
Otherwise, this is a wonderful XC that will provide many more years of reliable service. I am selling because I have decided to go electric.
Car will come with two key remotes, Thule crossbars, two sets of mats (winter and an unused set of carpet mats, both OEM) and all service records. Asking $6,800 firm.
