Used Land Rover Defender 110 for sale in Carlsbad, CA

Selling our 1985 Land Rover Defender 110. Legally imported into the USA with current South Dakota registration and title. Truck was originally registered in Nevada.
Lots of newly upgraded parts and work done:
Upgraded front grill with Trucklite LED headlights and WiPac LED running and directional lights. New front brake pads on slotted/vented disc brakes ( photo ), new rear brake cylinders and shoes for the drum brakes, full flush of brake system. New wheel bearings. Custom braided stainless steel oil lines from Mesa Hose ( 3 piece assembly ). New radiator and hoses. Pro Comp 9000 front and rear shocks, and new steering damper.
Just changed fluids, belts, fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, and fuel lift pump.
New glow plugs and diesel injectors
Driver and passenger seats were reupholstered with Exmoor kits and new rear bench seat cushions with seat belts for 4 additional passengers ( can be increased to allow up to 8 rear passengers )

Right hand drive. 2.5L Diesel non-aspirated 4 cylinder engine with 5 speed LT77 transmission. Fuel efficient diesel averaging about 28mpg. Dual 15 gallon diesel tanks with cockpit selector switch. Factory installed intercooler. Black Wingtop diamond plate protectors. Canvas ExMoor soft top with side windows purchased from England with about 2 years on the truck. Additional side compartment capable of storing two extra 5 gallon Jerry cans. 24 volt electrical system fitted with two new Interstate batteries ( Costco ) and cockpit power kill switch. Steel Military Wolf wheels with Michelin 4x4 O/R XZL 7.5 R16 tires. Bonnet mounted spare tire. Solid frame and doors with no rust. In great shape for a 34yrs old vehicle.

I am the original importer of the truck about 6 years ago. This truck was used originally in Singapore and was equipped from the factory in England with just about every feature available at the time. Factory underbody coating, roll down door windows, interior door cards, bonnet mount spare tire, and power assist steering ( a huge upgrade ). Singapore is an island only about 35 miles wide, so very little mileage was put on the truck. Most of this truck’s service life was spent in storage. It shows wear on some areas of the body panels but no rust thanks to the aluminum construction.
I have been working on upgrading this truck for some time, but sadly have to let it go. Too many projects and now too many kids.
