2002 Land Rover Discovery SD
Mileage 180,865 (2nd owner)
Pros: meticulously maintained, all records soft copy spreadsheet from 2007, comes with extra rebuilt front driveshaft, many parts updated within past 5 years, carport storage, new set of AT tires with only 1,700 miles on them, 90% of maintenance performed by AutoWorks Unlimited (Dale Gregory) Land Rover Specialist.
Cons: diagnosed leaky cylinder sleeve - possible new engine needed, still runs and is driven weekly for approx 1 mile to keep the guts working and tires rotated, needs some minor interior work (driver seat, headliner),
Needs new battery (currently jumping it to drive), hood release cable needs to be reattached.
These trucks are becoming more and more scarce. This one has a solid frame and good bones…. just might need an engine :(
