Vehicle Description
172,500 miles. V8 4.6 liter. It is NOT the BMW motor. These are becoming more and more rare.
New Bilstein shocks on the front and KYB on the rear, newer tires, new water pump, new transmission oil cooler, brand new battery and new Bosch alternator, new tensioner pulley and belt. New brakes and new rotors on the rear. Serviced regularly with synthetic oil.
Previous owner is a Land Rover enthusiast who did all the work. He put in rebuilt heads, new head gasket & amp; bolts, new valve stem seals, new spark plugs & wires, new valley pan gasket, new valve cover gasket, new heater core, new thermostat & radiator, new front windshield, coil suspension conversion(no air suspension), backup camera replaced the outdated navigation system.
We are selling it because we had a literal fender bender and the insurance company wants to total it out. I refuse to let that happen. So, I took the salvage title and kept it. This p38 is too good to see it go to a salvage yard and could easily be “rebuilt”. Anyone who knows P38’s understands how incredible these are.
The ONLY damage is cosmetic. The front bumper has been removed, the driver’s side turn signal light is broken and the fender has mild damage. The windshield washer fluid tank has been removed.
This will make a great car for someone who truly appreciates what these vehicles are or for someone who’d like to build an incredible off-road beast. My wife drove this around town and pampered it for the past few years and we hate to see it go.
I do not need help selling this vehicle. I could put a new bumper on it and keep it but I just don’t have the time right now.
