Vehicle Description
2003 Lincoln Town Car, $4,000 o/b/o, belonged to my father, who must stop driving. I spent $2,500+ to completely replace the transmission and tune the brakes a year ago, just before we learned he had to stop.
If you've ever driven one of these, then you don't need me to tell you how smooth they glide. This would be a big bargain for you, even as just a back-up Town Car. Seats 6 + driver easily.
Everything, incl heat & a/c, is in good working order (it has a cd player but an aux input too).
Caveats:
- Though it's clean, it could use a detail job. There are a few ornamental items (like die-cast metallic clips on the interior door-grip/handle) that have fallen off, but they are collected in the driver's seat pocket and any body-shop could cheaply re-attach them.
- It has been (safely) sitting in the parking lot of his senior-living apartment building undisturbed for over a year - so, although I put a new battery in a year ago at the same time as the transmission, it likely will not start without a jump, which we will be happy to provide when meeting you at the car.
Feel free to reach me with questions or your best offer.
