The General is up for sale! I bought this beast when I moved off-grid, to clean up the place. That chore is complete, so now I pass the General on to someone else.... 1985 AM General. 6X6. 4,100 original miles. Almost new tires. Tandem axle. Indestructible Cummins 240HP, naturally aspirated. Alison automatic. This truck was on base all of it's life, with constant maintenance and upgrades, but it was never assigned. Runs perfectly. I doubt there is a nicer one out there. Proof of Military Work Orders for ABS, rust-proofing etc. Military waterproof bucket seats. This truck has never seen abuse, but it welcomes it! The General can cross rivers & washes past 6' deep. Will tow or pull down anything. Trailer ready with pintle and glad-hands. EMP proof. Zombie proof. Would make the greatest water-truck for big loads off-grid. Open to offers or trades. Can deliver.
