Vehicle Description
It sucks to see this baby go, but I cant do anything for her anymore.
I was driving on the highway and started losing power, car starts dying, got her started again in the middle of the road, managed to get to a parking lot, but during that, power was dying again. When I pulled over and popped the hood the coolant was boiling and bubbling out of the overflow hose onto the ground.
Got her towed home, had to turn her on one more time to park in the space, then a loud knocking noise started from under the hood. Could be a blown head gasket, bent rod, or thermostat valve issue, all ideas that people have come up with, Im not the most car savvy so Ive got no clue.
Other than that there is a small engine oil leak, the windows are finnicky and dont always roll up on their own, and lastly, the back right door doesnt always electronically lock, I always just reach over and make sure its locked.
The good stuff is that the engine only had 50k when i got the car, so its probably about 90k-100k on it now. Also A week or two before I had just put $600 tires on it, got a new slave cylinder, put in a master cylinder in myself, got a new exhaust manifold and replaced the intercooler, that was all in a period of months btw, so thats a couple thousand in repairs you dont have to make. Im missing the paperwork for the tires but Im pretty sure I have paperwork for ALL other things Ive had done like the aforementioned things, replaced spark plugs, starter, and a couple other things I cant remember but you can feel free to look through the paperwork. I also have an auditvinreports.com link I can send you so you can check that too, and a vid of me turning it on so you can hear the noise its making, its all good :)
I love this thing to death but thanks to our lovely pandemic I am strapped for cash and cant afford to save up for repairs. If you can diagnose and fix whats wrong or replace whats knocking then you will have yourself a good vehicle for less than you should have paid for it. Last small thing, key has been slightly bent since I got it, doesnt affect usage, just letting you know
Probably spent over 10K over these 4 years Ive had it. Id love to get 10% of it at least.
Clean title. And of course I will spruce up the inside for you, shoot me a message and lets talk!
