Up for sale is a 1991 B3 Passat Wagon with a AHU 1.9 tdi swap. (We never got this first generation Passat with the solid front grill-less design here in a TDI. This is a federal spec car that's been TDI converted and updated.)
Solid southern car with virtually no rust.
New battery, timing belt, thermostat, valve cover gasket, head gasket, front struts, front strut mounts, aftermarket strut bar, 5x100 conversion with big 288mm front brakes, B4 power glass sunroof with sunshade, three point seat belts (no more rat tracks), front Euro clip with relayed Euro 35i headlights (wired to run both sets of lights on high beam) AND hella DE headlights. Rear Hella Heckblende clip.
New Conti high performance tires on new custom rims.
Also set of snow tires on OEM VW rims and a 3rd set VW OEM rims without tires
Straight/open 2.25" exhaust (not loud), EGR delete (all EGR gear included), stock JB ECU, 2nd JB ECU with Sawyer tuning chip, 3rd set of aftermarket chips (unknown specs, supposed to be an economy chip of some kind... runs like stock). New MAF.
Includes newly refurbished PD150 intake manifold and EGR delete race pipe and all hardware to install. (Not installed). This manifold with a set of injectors nozzles and a custom tune will nearly double the stock power!!
Several boxes of spare parts including Passat B4 TDI gauge cluster. (Current gauge cluster is B3 VR6 so the tach doesn't work). Cruise is not working and factory glow plug system (appears to all be there) was never enabled (car was in Georgia/Florida). New Bosch glow plug relay included. Currently have a direct manual pushbutton relay system setup.
New Bluetooth/iphone enabled head unit with 2 sets of aftermarket speakers, brand new windshield, brand new tint all around. Nice tight driver with COLD AC!
Despite seeming to be down on power from where it should be (perhaps the stock manifold is carboned up some?) Gets around 800 miles on a tank on the highway!
$4000 or near cash offer. I have a LOT more than that invested.
Only reason for selling is the recent acquisition of another LT1 Roadmaster wagon which will tow my race car...
