I purchased this RV in 2020 for a great deal and it overheated the next day. I discovered that it had a blown head gasket and decided to make the investment of having it replaced. When the head was off, I had it resurfaced and all valves were adjusted. We also replaced the turbo and updated all hoses and belts that needed to be changed. The engine is very solid and will last forever with proper care.
This year, I have replaced the fuel shut off solenoid and am in the process of replacing the starter because it has had intermittent starting issues since I bought it. Once that is dealt with, there are no mechanical issues that I am aware of. I have receipts and the previous owners also kept receipts for extensive maintenance and remodel work. So much work has gone into making this vehicle into an absolutely unique and robust motor home. (See comprehensive info below)
I have replaced some of the interior wallpaper with live edge white pine slabs. I build custom earth homes for a living and had to bring some of the natural feel into this home. Other than that, the remodel had been completed before I purchased it.
There is some water damage, as to be expected with a 30+ year old motor home, but nothing structurally compromising.
I have very mixed feelings about selling this. My reasoning is that I have a truck that could tow a tiny home, so I'm planning to use the money from selling this to build one for myself. I'd rather not have two big diesel engines to maintain. I would like to sell this to someone who can really appreciate how rare it is and wants to commit to taking proper care of it.

The RV is currently in TN, near Chattanooga. I will deliver it anywhere in the country for the cost of my travels.

The awning is not currently installed on the RV. New torsion ends for the awning (compatible with the new awning arms installed earlier this year) will come with purchase so that the new owner can install the awning on the RV.
