The S197 is a great generation of the Mustang, as it touts attractive retro styling and some serious performance. This particular example has some nice factory equipment, like V8 power, a 6-speed manual, and a limited-slip differential. More importantly, it features some GREAT modifications – namely a Roush supercharger kit that increases power substantially. It also touts relatively low mileage for one of these, and it looks absolutely sinister in triple black. These S197s have a lot going for them, and I'm confident that the next owner will love all of the driving thrills this example has to offer.

This Mustang is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission.
Factory equipment includes a limited-slip differential, cloth upholstery, HID headlights, a rear trunk spoiler, air conditioning, and more as detailed below.
Modifications to this Mustang include a Roush Stage 2 supercharger kit, American Muscle 19-inch wheels, a Flowmaster exhaust, a Thrustmaster X-pipe, colored headlight rings, a Raxion head unit, and removal of the rear seats. Third brake light blink.
The GT variant was also updated in late 2010 with a larger and more powerful "Coyote" V8 engine, a heavier duty transmission, and suspension enhancements. The 2013+ model years saw additional changes including an 8 horsepower bump in output, a GT500-style front fascia, LED fog lights, a vented hood, and blacked-out taillights.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter "Coyote" V8, rated at 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Roush claims that their Stage 2 kit produces 625 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque at the crankshaft. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Known Flaws
Carfax history report notes an incident in January 2020 where minor damage was sustained to the front of the vehicle. I hit an armadillo and the vehicle was towed to a Ford dealership to be repaired
