Vehicle Description
This is a super capable, super reliable truck that is ready to go anywhere in Montana and beyond. It comes with a pop-top camper with 6'6" of headroom and a removable upholstered sleeping platform. Great for camping, skiing in Cooke City, and hunting, with a setup for a wood stove. I'll include the stove for the right price.
The truck:
1991 Nissan Hardbody, V6 4x4 with 218,000 miles.
Cruise control.
It has a relatively new timing belt and water pump, replaced at 177k.
New Falken Wildpeak AT tires this summer.
Welded on rock sliders.
Locking rear differential.
2" lift.
One-piece frontier drive shaft.
High-performance clutch.
High-lift jack mounted in bed.
Bumper-integrated trail lights.
The Camper:
About 300 pounds. The truck has add-a-leafs for 1500 pounds, no sag. The truck drives great with the camper on, no hit to fuel economy.
Commercial capper style rear doors.
Carpeted floor.
Three-piece removable sleeping platform.
Stove-pipe ready.
Windows for proper visibility while driving.
4 windows in pop-up tent.
This is a great all-around rig that will take you literally anywhere you want to go. That said, it's not perfect. The passenger door is difficult to open from the outside, doesn't open from the inside. There's a little rust over the right wheel well. Small tear in driver's seat and inside door panel. Honestly, though, it's a super capable rig with all the amenities you need and none you don't.
