Vehicle Description
1999 GMC Suburban in great condition. I purchased last year from the original owner, and have all of the maintenance records since new.a folder about an inch thick. I have the original window sticker showing the options and the price new ($39,711.00). Low mileage (167,000) for this year, and these 5.7 V8s are know to go the distance. Comes with Hi/Lo Range 4x4, and a factory heavy duty tow hitch (Original owner did not tow with it, so never any stress on the transmission).

Some of the maintenance history: Will just show some of the items done after 100,000 miles:
-Tailshaft seal, VBelt, ABS Sensors, Speed sensors, Water Pump, Fuel Pump
-Rear Tires at 138k
-Front drive shaft seals, Front calipers-pads-rotors, Rear brake shoes/drums (142k)
-Front Tires at 144k
-Rear drive shaft U-Joints, Front/Rear Diff. and Transfer Case Fluids changed (151k)
-Front calipers, exhaust gaskets, rear wheel cylinders, Replace all brake lines/hoses (155k)
- New Spark Plugs, top quality Iridium (160k)
-Windshield replaced (166k)
-Pass Emissions (162k and 164k)
-New Battery (164k)
Since I have owned, the following was done:
-Replace rear axle bolts and brackets
-Sand, clean, degrease, and prime frame. Then paint black.
-Removed rear bumper, primed/painted frame ends
-Install new bumper (original one had the typical two rust spots where inner frame connects)
-Clean, paint leaf springs and rear axle and differential. Lubed leaf springs.
-Greased Drive shaft U-joints, and all grease fittings on front end
-Checked all Differential, Transfer Case, and Transmission levels.all Full and clean.
- Coolant: Drained, used Preston Flush for 1 week, flushed several times, install new GM Dextron Coolant.
- Replace Fuel Filter
- Oil and Filter Change. 1 Qt Marvel Mystery Oil added to fresh oil
- Rotated Tires
- Cleaned EGR Valve
- Complete Brake Fluid Flush, New Fluid added, Brakes Bled
- Removed entire Air Box/Duct/Throttle Body, cleaned inside and out.
- Cleaned Mass Air Flow sensor, Air Temp sensor, Idle Air Control & Speed Sensors.
- Checked Spark Plugs.Iridium plugs in Excellent condition, and burning a perfect color (white/grey color.not black)
- Lube all throttle and cruise control cables.
- Inspect CV boots-in perfect condition, no tears
- Power Steering Fluid: Completely drain and total flush-out, and added new fluid.
- Checked Fuel Pump pressure.58psi, as it should be
- Just inspected and new sway bar/bushings/end links were replaced, new headlight assemblies, new AC Delco front brake rotors.
This vehicle has been garage-kept for many years, and runs great. Even has the original factory spare tire, dated 1998, which has never been used. There was a tear on the driver's seat, and I added a color-matching leather patch, but it will need a drivers lower seat cover at some point.on eBay for about $50.
The AC needs to be checked for leaks by a shop, and then freon added. Freon was added at 153k, so there could be an ORing leak someplace. The only other upcoming work would be the scheduled transmission flush and filter change.
All power windows and accessories work.
