Used Pro Street 1983 Mustang for sale in Carriere, MS

This 1983 Mustang was built to be used on the street or strip. It features a completely custom aluminum rear interior, which covers the pro-stock rear axle assembly. The rear axle is a Ford 9"posi unit, which was narrowed to a 48" width. The tires are Mickey Thompson, flame tread design, 28.5 X 15 X 15 mounted on 15"wide "Convo" CenterLine rims. The front rims are also CenterLine rims. The rear axle assembly also has a beefy four bar link,
and a wish bone axle locator. The rear suspension system is comprised of QA1 adjustable shocks in a coil over configuration. The sub-chassis frame was built with 3"X4"X3/16" mild steel stock, and is substantially braced with 1/4" plating and various sized tubing. The engine is the original 302 cu in motor. It was rebuilt 3000 miles ago. It features an Isky cam, aluminum heads with large valves, double springs, aluminum rocker arms, and light weight custom push rods. It has a "sta-bright chrome like" Edelbrock "air gap" intake manifold with a polished 750cfm, double pump, Holley 4 barrel carb. The car was painted 10 yrs ago and always garage kept. Modified C4 trans.
