Vehicle Description
This is a rare 1960 Ford Starliner, numbers matching, Automatic. Purchased the car from Idaho. This is a two year model car (1960, 1961, discontinued after for the Galaxie). Included an image of what it could look like (just need to finish it).
Work done so far:
Frame off professional blasting of body and frame
Frame was painted with epoxy
Most of the metal work has been done except quarter panels (has about 150 hours up to now)
Engine has been professionally rebuilt (clean and resurface heads, values ground, resurface exhaust manifold, all new lifters, gaskets, oil pump, replaced block with a 360, painted)
Many new parts (nothing was missing from the original car, it's all there, will need new windows although have them all if you want)
For disassembly all parts were bagged and tagged
Have the complete air conditioning system out of a 1961 Starliner
Have a pair of Galaxie bucket seats and console that also go with the car
It has the very rare record player mount (no player though)
Has a clean Alabama title in my name (got the car before they switched to registration only for older cars)
Car is currently located at a shop about 30 minutes from Spanish Fort (can arrange a viewing if really interested)
I've decided I have too many projects so am willing to sell.
Asking $22,500 O.B.O. (have a lot more in the restoration, parts, etc.)
I do not need assistance selling
Not interested in any trades
Will consider shipping but payment has to clear up front before letting it go
If the ad is up I still have the car.
