Vehicle Description
I recently completed a 2 year long ground up, nut / bolt restoration on my 1924 Model T Ford Runabout Roadster. It has "0" miles and has ran less than 5 min. while I adjusted the carburetor and pedals. The previous owner spent 8 years completing the body work, installing all new wood and rebuilding the complete rear end assembly and front axle.
I have spent hundred's of labor hours and driven well over a 1000 miles purchasing parts for this restoration. I have receipts for $25,878.00 that I spent for parts and professional labor and can provide those receipts and build pictures. I have not including any cost for my labor and mileage in the selling price.
The following is a list of some of the work that has been done. Most of the new parts used were purchased from Snyder's Antique Auto Parts and the others came directly from the manufactures or shops that worked on the car.
Engine / Transmission: The engine and transmission are from a 1925 that I delivered to Putnam Model T Service in Bluffton Ohio for a total rebuild. Some of the work he did: All new babbit, .020 over aluminum pistons, weight matched rods, SS valves w/ adjustable push rods, new guides and harden seats, EE crankshaft machined / polished / aligned, milled head and block, new ball cap, flywheel ring gear, magneto completely rebuilt, kevlar bands. and anything else that was needed inside the transmission. Also done at that time was installing a
rebuilt carburetor, Ron Patterson rebuilt starter with new drive, new 6 volt alternator / battery, all new wiring and battery cables, Anderson style timer / plug wires, restored coil box with plastic material kit, rebuilt coils from Lang's, new ignition switch assembly, new Berg original style flat tube, high radiator, NOS aftermarket radiator shell with script" Ford, made in USA" that I had chrome plated along with the steering gear housing, new Motometer, 5 used 1926'-27' OEM wire wheels that were sandblasted and each wheel powder coated 2 times with "Super Chrome" and clear coat, a 1927' sedan spare tire holder w/ new 1919-23 tail lights and brackets, new Stainless Steel polished lug nuts/ gas and timing rods, 5 new tires, tubes, rim guards, chrome hub caps, 5:1 steering assembly, new NOS Timken front wheel inner / outer bearings / races, oil seals, new safety glass, top bows rebuilt with new wood. New Rootlieb rear fenders, gas tank / sediment bowl, exhaust manifold and complete exhaust system.
Body: Painted with PPG Delfleet Essential single stage code 9000 polyuretane by a professional painter with 35 yr. experience. Bottom side of fenders, running boards, splash aprons, inside of trunk and the new 3/4" thick waterproof plywood trunk floor have been spray painted with "Raptor" black bed liner to protect underside from rock chips. New Classtique Upholstery / Top were installed by Coverall Upholstery Shop in Martinsville In.
I would be glad to share more information with you if you are a serious buyer. I built this car to be a driver quality that would be mechanically as trouble free as possible and did not skimp on anything that was needed.

My price is firm and I don't need anything in trade or help selling the car. I'm aware that this is a lot of money to invest in a Model T Ford Runabout Roadster but it may be the closest to being a new 1924 Model T that is available at this price .
Thank you
