Comes with sink, new fresh water tank, 2-burner propane stove, new propane tank, Fantastic Fan roof vent/fan, custom blackout window shades, all cushions, and ample storage. Van is currently registered and passed smog in August 2019. It is in great working order and ready to go!
The engine has about 155,400 miles on it; both the engine and transmission were rebuilt at 100,000 miles, so only 55,400 since then. Catalytic converter and starter replaced this year.
The previous owner did a lot of restoration and mechanical work, listed below.
Restoration:
The interior was stripped down to bare metal and everything thoroughly cleaned.
All interior paneling was replaced with Baltic birch plywood panels
The floor, headliner, and top bunk were replaced with Baltic birch plywood
Carpet in cab area replaced by two-part epoxy primer followed by Monstaliner truck bed liner
Pop-top tent replaced with super-durable, water-resistant, UV-resistant synthetic fabric from Go Westy
Fiberglass pop-top completely resorted: outside coated with a two-part epoxy primer followed by Monstaliner truck bed liner for rugged durability. The liner was removed from the inside and fresh paint applied
Ceiling vent replaced with a Fantasic Fan and sealed with Dicor lap sealant for a leak-free seal
All fiberglass insulation removed and replace with sheep’s wool insulation
All plumbing lines replaced
Electric water pump replace by a Whale Marine Babyfoot foot pump for simple, hands-free and electricity-free operation
All of the 120V shore power was replaced and a new 120V, 15 Amp push-button breaker was added
New 11 lb. Manchester propane tank was added.
