International Thomas Vista Bus with 112k miles. Bus is in incredible condition; has been maintained by Conway school district. Purchased by a local rafting company in 2020 (just before the pandemic) and we have put less than 1000 miles on it. Bus has the legendary International DT466, mechanical injection; one of the finest school bus engines ever made (we have 5 of them). Needs nothing mechanically. Has a hitch, great tires, brakes. you could drive it another 300k miles. Does not burn oil or smoke and has the heavy duty Allison 643 Transmission. Transmission shifts strong. Literally everything on this bus is in great condition. except, we hit a tree branch and there are two cracked windows (see photos). Price is firm, and reflects the value of this tremendously durable bus. Selling because it is short, and the rest of our fleet seats more people. you will not regret buying this bus. PRICE FIRM. This is what it is worth to me, as someone who has owned several over the past decade; you will never find a better running gear. this bus will last the better part of your lifetime. If you're thinking of building out a bus; they are not equal! I have learned that the Cummins is good, and the DT engines are superior, and the cream of the crop is the mechanically injected DT; literally have 5 of them and have NEVER done any work to engine, transmission, or running gear in 10 years. There will be no surprises with this bus; it will start right up as it always has no matter how long it sits. Ceiling is 6'4 inside so perfect for a schoolie.
