Vehicle Description
A tiny house on wheels--perfect for a life on the go!
Nearly complete, this skoolie is just looking for someone to put the finishing work in to make it their own (saving a lot of time compared to starting from scratch, and a lot of money compared to buying something finished!).
The bus itself is in prime condition. 2004 Chevy Express 3500 with only 62,000 miles on it. Great shape. Gas engine--so no diesel smell! Drives perfectly. Needs no work at all. Just had the oil changed and got new transmission fluid and rear differential fluid. (Last inspection: 2/19 through 2/20.) Minimal rust on bus chassis. Floor frame is new metal, layered with insulation, marine-grade plywood, aluminum plate, and topped with vinyl wood-textured flooring. Walls layered in aluminum, insulation, and tongue and groove maple. This thing is rock solid! All bus lights and electrical in perfect shape.
Kitchen features a long maple countertop with live edge from the mill. Hot/cold plumbing all done for sink and shower (sink included, but space in counter still needs to be cut for it before connecting). Faucet plumbed to connect directly to hose/shore water, or to a 46 gallon fresh water tank for when you're boondocking. Drains empty to a gray water tank mounted under the bus. Also mounted under the bus, two 5 lb detachable propane tanks connect to the hot water heater and 2-burner range. Countertop ends at a "writing desk" station in the back of the bus--perfect laptop space for working remotely!
Included is a futon that pulls out to a full 2-person bed (optional and removable; both options pictured).
Electricity comes from three 100 watt Renogy solar panels (included, along with all necessary cords and mounting brackets) which connect to a Goal Zero Yeti 1400 lithium ion power station (included; $1800 value in itself!), offering AC and DC power. Electric wiring on either side is hidden behind the maple wallboards for easy electrical access anywhere in the bus. Lights are low-wattage LEDs under live-edge wood shelves running the length of the bus.
Finally, for heat there's the perfect tiny house wood stove: the Cubic Mini Grizzly, complete with mounting stand--both still in their original packaging (included, not yet installed).
Put in the sink, mount the solar panels (and, if in a cold climate, install the stove) and you're good to go.
Happy to answer any questions and consider offers. Will meet buyer within a couple hours of Milton if desired.
