Vehicle Description
2008 Ford Focus S
My daily driver for 7 years (I'm the second owner). 152,800 miles, automatic, base model. Clean title in hand.
I was starting to look for an SUV or truck and then the coolant leak started so I'm accelerating the process.
The good:
- New battery 2018
- New spark plugs 2018
- New coil over plugs 2018
- New valve cover gasket 2018
- Tires have good tread
- Interior is in very good shape
- Heat and A/C work
- Does great on the open road
The bad
- Has a coolant leak -- it has NOT run hot. This just started and I haven't even tried determining what's leaking.
- Has an intermittent cylinder 3 misfire (it doesn't prevent running, but it can be rough idling or lacking acceleration power sometimes). This causes the check engine light to be on. I'm quite sure that it's a wiring issue, but I don't know how to troubleshoot or fix that.
- Missing one of the tire pressure sensors, so the check tire pressure light is always on.
- Cosmetically the exterior is not good -- the clear coat has worn away as well as a cosmetic streak across the passenger side
- Minor things associated with an older car (the CD player doesn't work, etc).
