Please read ALL - This is a Great, mostly original T Top Convertible Sunroof car. Not some flawless show car, but damn good for its age and miles. And I am very picky as to what I call "good."
Always well cared for. Garaged much of its life. Only 300 made with these options.
Look at that engine compartment! This car was never a daily-driver.
I have all original papers from when it is purchased new (in 1998) at John Bailey Pontiac, Buford GA. See photos. The second owner was the son of the original buyer and owned it for 20 years.
I also have the original Owner's Manual, original Pontiac logo keychain that came with the car (never used), and a couple of original 1997 Pontiac Dealer Brochures relating to this model. Very cool stuff.
New $175 floormats just installed. Also new KYB shocks recently installed. Handles and rides great. Even has NEW windshield wiper blades! K and N Performance Air Intake System ($500).
My guess is this car makes about 70hp over stock with air filter, tune-up, clutch and exhaust. Not bad for an ol clunker. ;)
Clean Georgia Title here in my hand.
POV driving video. Walkaround (speakers have since been replaced)
White, 5.7L 350 V8 LT1 white Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Trans Am TransAm WS9 Y82 (which means original Trans Am from GM) with 6-speed manual stick-shift transmission, mostly Original American muscle car v-8 hot rod. Has Corvette C5 wheels rims as shown, good tires, nice T-tops dont leak, runs great, always properly serviced.
This is a Local northern Georgia Car - originally bought from Buford GA dealership (transferred there from a Roswell dealership). Also owned in Flowery Branch, Winder GA, Woodstock Georgia. All previous owners were "car people" - so - they did their own maintenance.
Has officially had 4 owners before me. 2 of the owners were not for long though. First owner sold it to her son (who then owned it for 20 years.) I have current CarFax as well. So, save your $49 I can send screenshots of it to you.
VIN 2G2FV22P8V2225214
Remember, this IS a 25-year old car - not a 5-year old car. And for its AGE - it is really good. Also remember that my ad is easily worth $2000 alone. Have you SEEN the awful ads on here? Good lord. I take much time to do a good ad for Your benefit.
Pretty much everything works, all lights, (flip-up headlights too), sidemarkers, tail lights, brake lights, foglights, rear window defogger, interior dome lights, cruise control, etc. No leaks, nice sounding, fairly loud exhaust (no catalytic converter, because it is not required), I am considering installing a muffler on the rear to tone it down a tad - but YOU might love it as it is. See videos.
It has the original Monsoon stereo WITH CD Changer and cassette tapedeck (both work pretty well). Even the power antenna works. All new (10) speakers!
A/C and Heat works! Read that again! :)
The car's paint is super amazingly great and original - because this car was garaged most of its life. No reported accidents on CarFax. A great example of a 25-yr old car.
No significant leaks or problems that I see. Strong runner, shifts like butter. Not a perfect show car. But only if you are really picky would you notice.
Emissions not required in Georgia for a vehicle of this age.
Video (speakers have since been replaced)
Serious only.
