Used TEXAS Taurus SHO for sale in Columbia, MO

This is a truly solid body TX car! I bought this SHO (Super High Output) from my brother-in-law in the DFW area. He bought it from an acquaintance in TX and owned it for almost 15 years.

If I remember correctly the first years of this model had a 220 hp Yamaha-badged 3.0 V6, and was only a blip slower 0-60 mph and the quarter mile than the 5.0 Mustangs of the day, but had the same 140ish mph top speed. Back when I was a police officer in rural IL, I had a green one outrun my Crown Vic. (Don't worry, I got him another night.) This 5 speed manual is still snappy and a blast to drive.

My SHO would be the perfect father/son, father/daughter, family project! If you watch 1320 video on you tube, you'll see the crazy full potential of this little V6, four door grocery getter. Mine has some miles, but considered low miles for the year, and way less than my Toyota Camry that is 20 years younger.

This SHO runs super smoothly. She needs a bit of time and love, particularly for a leaky power steering line. Someone years ago put a glass pack in the exhaust system. Other than that, as far as I can tell, it is all original. Tons of potential!!
