This car is so squeaky clean; you would think you had stepped onto a car dealership show room floor. For me, I have never bought a used car that was this clean. Absolutely zero rust. How can this be? Reason for this, it has always been garage kept, always privately owned and meticulously cared for. So immaculate, the back seats are brand-new looking; clearly the original owner never had kids. LOL.
Low mileage for a 2009, it was driven on average about 10,000 miles per year; this is 5,000 miles under the national average of 15,000 per year. I purchased this from its original 78 yr. old owner who is now retired. She commuted to work, and that is where most of the miles came from. Highway miles are a good thing.
.~. Warning! You will Fall in love when you get into the driver's seat. ~.
Lexus makes THE MOST COMFORTABLE SEATS ever. The soft supple leather is in excellent condition.
Cold and snow is nothing when you have leather heated seats. Once you have them, you would not want anything else. The older I get, the more I feel that heated leather seats are not simply an option, but a necessity. Especially with this weather we are having.
Unmatched comfort, luxurious leather that feels so warm and cozy was my first impression. Then, as I adjusted the seat, I found it has 10-way power seats with memory. Of course, I programmed button #1. It’s nice to push a button and get into your favorite position. May I point out, this steering wheel moves out of your way when you get to where you are going. Turn off the car and the steering wheel automatically moves up out of the way, this feature sure does make it so much easier to get out. Also, when you get back in, the steering wheel is not in your way.
I will always remember driving it for the first time. After leaving the driveway and getting out on the highway. in less than 8 seconds I was alarmed to see my speed quickly reaching 80 mph. Whoa! It's so quiet, sure did not know how fast we were going. Of course, I slowed down to the speed limit.
Stopping to test out the brakes, it was a perfect, drama free, smooth braking feel. Turning left and right is the norm, but I confess that I sometimes get lost, and find it necessary to do a U-Turn. To test out the turning ratio I was pleasantly surprised it has a compact 37.4 feet turning circle. Nodding my head in approval, I then stomped on the accelerator again to feel the rocket speed. Nice.
When getting onto I-70 after fueling up, safe merging requires responsive acceleration. What a sigh of relief to merge safely onto the interstate, staying ahead of the 18-wheelers as you drive to and from your destination. Social distancing on the road is easy when you are in this Lexus RX350 SUV.

Why then, if I love this SUV so much, why am I selling it?
My income relies on my ability to carry a lot of passengers and equipment. I had to face the truth and found a used van. A boring van that is not fun to drive.
This silver Lexus RX350 is a really good SUV. Reluctant to sell it, but trusting this sweet Lexus will find the right owner. ~~ It is truly a GREAT PERFORMANCE VEHICLE _ it rides like a cream puff_ drives like a dream _
This Lexus is a lady, as is the original owner. I will entertain any cash negotiation when you are sitting in it, and after you have driven it. My cell phone number, threee threee zero. nine eighty-eight. zero 1 twenty two. text is best ….please also, no over the phone offers. That is rude and I will hang up. Pros:
+ It's a Lexus
+ Luxury at an affordable price
+ Privately owned and extremely well maintained.
+ No rust anywhere
+ Perfect SUV
+ New tires
Cons:
small crack on dashboard (see photo)
power lift gate doesn't open automatically but it closes when you push the electronic button
Tire Pressure Warning Light is on. I was told it might be due to significant changes in weather or temperature
(it is winter and it's cold outside). or one of the tire sensors needs to be replaced.
the owner told me a minor fender bender happened in a parking lot. it's on the car's report, but I can't tell where it was. I looked and could not find any clue.
