I am technically the third owner of this very well kept Tacoma, but the second owner just had it for less than a year and didn't use it. The first owner had this truck until around 100k miles and it was dealer maintained that whole time. The second owner took it to his mechanic and had a tune up done, but really didn't use it beyond that as it was a spare vehicle he thought 'would be fun to have, but [his] kids didn't like it'.
I bought the truck 5.5 years ago and have maintained it like I planned to keep it forever. Not that it has ever had any problems, it is a Tacoma after all, but I was on top of cleaning it and replacing fluids. Always redline (a high quality) fluid in the transmission and differentials and mobil1 in the engine. I have a spreadsheet of the maintenance items and when I did them. There is nothing funny to discover with this truck and everything works as it should. The transmission shifts smoothly, the clutch holds strong, etc etc.
The FlipPac is an awesome camper. So much room inside and the bed platform is incredible. All of the zippers and windows work. The mounts on the side were built for rotopax and an awning. The L track is strong and installed well (no leaks). I also have crossbars for the roof rack mounts. Additionally there is a bench which mounts into the bed rails (easy to take off) and makes using the camper a lot nicer. This style of camper leaves the whole bed empty for daily use of the truck and when open gives room to stand and move around. Google FlipPac for more info on them. Very very hard to find for a Tacoma.
I've used the truck to drive down forest roads, get to trail heads, and camp in the wilderness. There are some scratches and scrapes and one dent, but the truck presents very well and has been loved its entire life. Never abused.
I know many people say they are sad to part with a car, but I really think this one is in incredible shape and if I didn't have circumstances change I would not be selling it.
Come take a look and I'll be happy to talk to you about it and answer questions.
