I am getting my 1987 Toyota van ready for sale. I love this little van but I don’t use it much anymore and it pains me to see it sit around.
About 3 years ago I rescued this van from my friends driveway. It was their family car and was used for 155,000 miles. Eventually they stopped using it due to a number of broken things. I brought it home and slowly got things working again. I installed or repaired the following:
The starter
The entire gas tank was cleaned and recoated and new fuel pump was installed.
New fuel filter
New post catalytic converter exhaust / muffler. I got the last OEM part in the country!
New spark plugs
Awesome Maxis tires
New battery.
Roof rail system included
NEW PARTS! (Included)
I haven’t gotten around to installing these parts yet...
New control arms, wheel bearings, shocks and more!
I replaced the lights behind the dash to blue
Touchscreen audio system with new front speakers
What’s not working- the alternator is acting up- needs to be repaired or replaced.
Fuel injectors could use a cleaning for a smoother ride
The armrests need some work.
The dash has the typical Cracks
I wrapped parts of the car with a vinyl wrap that could use a refresh
The roof needs a new coat of paint soon
The back rear parts are taken off - but they are all included.
No back benches
This van is a great van for someone who likes to tinker and build. Ideal for a small van life van or hauler.
