Vehicle Description
Hello,
I’m selling my high school car. It’s a 1986 Pontiac Trans am. I’m the second owner my uncle sold it to me in 1990 after he bought it new. The car has been all over the United States with me when I was young. It has never seen snow so it almost 100% rust free! Over the years though it’s has seen lots of use and wear. I always kept up with until recently.
About 5 years ago I had it gone through to make it run and drive again. New brakes, injectors, exhaust, ect. It did run and drive when I put it away in my garage. I did add a fuel additive every year to keep the gas from going bad.
So here’s the deal…I’m moving. I went out bought new battery to move it and it won’t start. Not even turn over, not even click, just nothing. The lights work, it powers up, ect just won’t start. I’ve kept it all these years hearing how you should never sell you high school car but I’m just not the guy to restore it or get it running. I can’t see myself dragging it around another 32 years knowing I’ll never get to it.
It’s all there. It’s a great get running project or totally restore it if that’s your thing.
It’s the good trans am. 305 tuned port injection…biggest motor that year.
I’m asking a VERY fair $4,000 because the trucks are coming to move us very soon. I’ll take it with me if I have to but honestly would prefer not to. So the price is the price…4K…bring a trailer…
