Vehicle Description
Exterior: Premium Wheels
Interior: Leather Seats, Multi-zone Climate Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Steering Wheel Controls, Sunroof
Safety: Security System
Technology: Backup Camera, Bluetooth Hands-Free, CD Player, Cruise Control, Keyless Entry, Navigation, Portable Audio Connection
Other: Premium Audio
This is a very special vehicle with some hard-to-find options: Infrared Nightview Assist (useful in driving on desolate roads so that you see wildlife in the road far in advance), Distronic cruise control (automated cruise control - self driving except for the steering), Airmatic suspension (the most luxurious ride in any vehicle), Keyless Entry, , Active Curve System (reduces the roll of the vehicle and ensures optimum driving comfort on the road as well as for better traction off-road), LED Daytime Running Lights, low-sheen open-pore brown ash wood trim, hot and cold cup holders, lighted running boards. All of these options are stock, none are aftermarket.
I also upgraded the wheels to the 21" AMGs with the painted inside spokes so, except for the ML400 badge, the vehicle looks just like the ML550. The original 18" stock AMG wheels also come with the vehicle and still have over 70% life on them. Adding these genuine AMG rims was the only aftermarket option.
The Lunar Blue Metallic is also probably the most attractive color that Mercedes has put out (in my opinion). The ML400 comes with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 that produces 329 horsepower with 22mpg highway. (The ML400 replaces the ML550 and its gas-guzzling 4.7-liter V-8) The twin-turbo V-6, though, has plenty of get-up-and-go and comes with a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The price is well below the KBB price and without the 21" AMG Wheels (which set me back another $2,500). The vehicle is in pristine condition and the buyer will certainly be happy with this beautiful and well-maintained SUV.
