Vehicle Description
I've owned it for 3 years now. I Have this almost completed, but I bought a boat in the meantime so this isn't going to be used as planned. Somebody might be interested. It has 122165 miles, (and counting - it's my daily driver) Last year I put about $1800 worth of brake work into it - calipers, rotors, drums, etc... New plugs and wires then too. two years ago, did a pulley kit and new belt. The battery is only about a year old.
It needs a new emergency brake cable though.
Also, it has a small power steering leak - like very small - I put about a half cup of fluid in it every month or so. It wouldn't take much at all to clear up those two issues,
Its very reliable, I drive it back and forth to New Jersey every month, I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere just the way it is. The heat and A.C work great.
I insulated and panelled the interior (overhead, floor, doors, and walls) built a full width bed across the back, put some LED lighting back there, and a small shelving unit. I also hung some curtains for privacy. Its nice and cozy when the curtains are drawn. It needs a couple pieces of interior trim, and a rug or some kind of flooring to be complete.
The bank is holding the title, so you'd paying them directly. We'll go there together, and as long as the payment is cash or certified check, cash would be best - so that I know the transaction is complete - you can take the van with my plates for the couple of weeks it will take the title to clear. Of course, we'll have a notarized bill of sale with all of this. I'm just trying to get out of this payment, and I'm thinking some vanlifer out there might be interested. I understand it isn't for everyone.
