Vehicle Description
2nd Owner. The car was meticulously taken care of, then had a few unfortunate things happen. I bought it at about 170,000 miles, and documentation of maintenance and oil changes are extensive. A mechanic I took it too for a thermostat, didn't use the VW rated coolant I asked him to use, and told his secretary about, which had been used for the life of the car, long story short, it mixed with the regular green stuff he thought would be alright, clogged up the heater core. There are a lot of new parts , I replaced the coolant system myself, heater core is bypassed. Newer transmission approx 65k miles. Body has 220k. This 1.8t (AUG) VW/Audi engine is "indestructable" and will run forever if maintained.
A blind dude backed into the side of the VW in a rite-aid parking lot, from 20 ft away. the paint on the driver side is now damaged. OEM Audi wheels and new tires are worth at least $500 alone. - Will be cleaned before sale.
Runs and drives, inspection up end of 2019 - needs a wheel hub / bearing - brakes are good, lots of new parts in 2018-2019 - most everything is good to drive still. 4motion Auto-Manual transmission.
May part out car if it doesn't sell whole soon. Thanks for looking.
