This is an exceptionally fun to drive mid-engine car with a removable hard top. The top stores under the front hood. This was the first year for the 1.5l 4 cylinder engine and the 5 speed manual transmission. The 1.5l engine was rebuilt at 28,000 miles and all hydraulic cylinders were replaced. The man I bought it from assumed the odometer had rolled over. Other than a small repaint on the front and rear the paint is original. There is rust on lower rocker panels, the drivers door and behind the rear wheels. the main dash has been replaced, the ignition switch, brake switch, fan switch, and back up light switch. The door rubber and rear top rubber has been replaced. The carpet has been replaced and the seats have been recovered with vinyl with cloth inserts. There is one place on the cloth insert on the drivers seat that has a hole. These cars were advertised as the affordable mid-engine sports car.
