Vehicle Description
Original, Unmolested 2nd owner running car
I bought this from the grandson of the original owner.
Has original cardboard license plate, original dealer window sticker, original manual, original advertising brochure showing different models and sections of the car, picture of original owner winning a show, even a Life magazine the owner bought on his way home from the dealership to commemorate the week's purchase.
Has a few area's of surface rust but no rot/or cancer.
Car lived most of it's life in Illinois so I had to rebuild the carb. once it came to Colorado due to the thinner air.
Original straight 6 motor, paint, 3 on the tree manual transmission, 6 volt electrical system, glass, spare tire, etc. Only the door panels and seat covers aren't original (Not sure when they were replaced).
This care was kept inside for the last 70 years.
46k original miles
All original glass
It does have a few minor things to make it 100% like a small oil leak, as well as a small master brake cylinder leak. Some exhaust work. One of the rear shocks has a part that the rubber is warn so it keeps falling off, all small stuff for a 70 year old car.
This car would make for a very easy restore or just enjoy driving it in it's current vintage condition.
