Used 1954 Chevy 4400 1.5Ton Truck for sale in Phoenix, AZ

1954 Chevy 4400 1.5 ton truck. 10' frame rails, the bed I have available is 12', truck is offered with or without the bed. 261CI 6 cylinder that I believe has been rebuilt but I have no documentation. Just been tuned it starts, sounds and runs like a newer engine. 4 speed with low gear. Single speed rear end.

The truck had gone through a frame off restoration my guess 3-4 years ago, someone died or lost it in a divorce but had spent easily more than $20k on a frame off restoration and it was not finished. Truck was transported from California by the owner I bought from. When purchased it had no brakes and front end was dangerously loose, both remedied now. I have $5000+ in receipts for recent work.

New Wilwood 1" 2 stage master cylinder, new vacuum assist for brakes, power steering, new tilt steering column steering wheel and turn signals, after market air conditioning blows cold, new windows (vent wings need latches), new door handles and mechanisms and jamb latches and weather seal--doors shut solidly and seal as they should. Body and under hood have been undercoated--cab looks like new metal or has been restored to new condition. Paint job was fresh 3-4 years ago and shows a few minor cracks. Grill, bumper, bumper brackets and all 4 front turn signal assemblies are new. Truck has new period correct gauges and speedometer, none worked when I purchased but all do now--fuel, oil pressure, voltage, temperature . See in photos there is a round in line gas pressure gauge on the firewall.

The engine has Offenhauser dual intake and exhaust, dual large bore Carter carbs, with cooling finned Offenhauser engine side plate and a cast aluminum Offenhauser valve cover goes with the truck, it is loose not installed, see photo.

Newly upholstered interior, head liner, door panels, chevy bowtie in seat back, sound insulation and new carpet.

All 6 tires are almost new with less than 100mi on them. New battery, brakes, rebuilt front end with modern power steering. New brake lines, braided gas lines with threaded fittings, Holley fuel pump.

Rust free body and frame with minor surface rust in some fastener edges I haven't gotten to, rear chrome wheels are rust free, the front wheels are of a different quality chrome and have rust through close to seams.

Truck is $17,000 without bed, $18,000 with the bed shown in photos. Bed comes loose, not mounted, finished or wired on the truck. I can deliver the bed within Phoenix metro area for full price sale.
