Used 1981 VW Rabbit Convertible for sale in Huntsville, AL

Super nice, super clean, original, garage kept, NON-SMOKER, Rabbit Convertible, 1.7 ltr, w/5 Speed, Power Brakes, A/C (needs charging~freon system). SAME Family owned since 1983!! Kept in garage for 35 years!! Fairly new top(2005-been up and in garage all the time since then!), new Michelin tires, shocks, C-V joints, water pump, timing belt and all bushing/grommets in shifter mechanism, oil change and tune up. Runs great, shifts perfectly, drives smoothly on the road, with tight steering, good brakes and great handling. Factory original 'Recarro' Style seats, in great condition, no tears, or deep stains, but a couple small repair areas on the driver seat only, not faded, carpet is perfect, original 'Rabbit' floor mats. Classic AM/FM Cassette with good speakers and sound system. Full gauge pak, even an oil temperature gauge as well as tachometer and a factory roll bar. Speedometer works, Odometer doesn't....showing 92K. No issues, cranks easily and has a nice little trunk area with a full size matching wheel and good tire. Paint is fair and shiny but has some imperfections and 'alligator' cracking in a few areas. Also full size factory service manual is included.Nice, fun to drive, perfect for fall and spring, top down leaf viewing. So much fun to drive. $2,950 obo
