Vehicle Description
I am selling my 1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar convertible, I have been trying to finish it for 2 years now and am very close, but someone else is going to have to finish it as I am on to other projects and need the room. This is a very solid car and I have been driving it around to break in the engine. What's been done, engine has been professionally rebuilt, with hardened valve guides and seats (runs on premium unleaded pump gas) The transmission “ slim-jim” has been professionally rebuilt, new aluminum radiator, gage set for temp, oil, volts, new white top that works perfectly, new pump and pistons, new carpet and seats have been professionally recovered, the original bench seat has been removed and the buckets and console from a 1964 Olds starfire has been installed. (I have the floor shifter for the console if you would like to install) the car was repainted in dark blue and looks great. The trunk is clean and solid. The 394 big block runs strong, and the trans shifts as it should. I would suggest swapping out the front drum brakes for the disk brake conversion. I have done this on a few pre-66 cars and it make a huge difference, and not that expensive. What needs to be done: Electrical sub-systems such as lights and turn signals, horn, head lights work but need de-bugging, wire crossed somewhere. That’s a winter project and you can enjoy the car next summer. As I mentioned I have been driving it around just using hand signals, no time to trouble shoot. Asking $14,000 OBO
