Vehicle Description
Looking for a winter project? All of the hard work is done. This was my daily driver up until the work began. This project was started and completed to this point about 20 years ago and has been stored in a garage in this state since then. Body and chassis are complete and mated.
Well over asking price invested. Will entertain any reasonable offer.
Body:
This body was in excellent shape with no major accident damage. Minimal fill was used.
Rockers were replaced/repaired as needed.
Engine battery tray and rear apron replaced.
Body was painted a vw white paint code which I will be able to provide.
Included are complete restorable original bumpers which had been painted black.
All original glass is included along with orig. alum window trim.
All original body parts are included - signals, headlights, trim pieces etc.
Rubber kit will be required.
Chassis:
New pans installed
New adjustable front beam
Rear was lowered 2 notches.
Disk brake conversion.
All pan and suspension were painted with POR-15
Engine:
Solid running (when work started) dual port with some chrome upgrades
Turns over - a good mech. can get running in a morning.
Will need an exhaust.
Original axels are included.
Interior:
Will need redone
Original seats are included
All gauges are included.
