Vehicle Description
ONE OF A KIND WHEELER! selling my project truck of over 10 years,time to get her to somone who has time and money to put it to use! This truck is street legal and its built to be safe and reliable, the steering is great with the hydro assist and crossover conversion, it will lock up all 4 tires with the hydroboost brake system. I put all my time and money into making this truck into a reliable wheeler, mechanically this truck is ready to go out and tear it up. It does need interior work, paint, and other things to be a daily driver but you could wheel it the day you buy it.
Chevy 350:
* Motor has been rebuilt before I got, it has tag, .010" over bore.
* Has been torn down to the block and all gaskets replaced, no major leaks
* Had heads flow tested,1.95" valves
* 4 bolt main bearings
* Accel distributer
* Edelbrock intake and carb.
* 100 amp alternator
* Headers w glass packs sounds good.
* York air conditioning pump converted for on board air (Onboard air will run a ½" impact and air up tires very efficiently.)
Turbo 400 transmission:
*Rebuit with less than 100 miles, includes new friction and steel plates, new bushings, new seals, new tci Saturday night special truck master torque converter, upgraded to a 16 tooth sprag clutch, And Stage 2 shift kit, also has larger transmission cooler added. This about as tough as you can get in a turbo 400. (plan was to do tractor pulls in the future)
* Rebuild was approx $600 parts only (with receipts)
Transfer case:
* stock np205. divorced
* Only modification is the rear output was modified for 1 ton cv style driveline.
* Front driveline is junkyard ½ ton with tom woods superflex u joint on transfer case.
* Rear driveline is tom woods custom made,1350 u joints (1 ton) approx $600 new.
Front end:
* Chevy dana 60 front end.
* Completely rebuilt, installed a new Yukon powerlock and new 5.86 gears several years ago.
* Offroad design crossover steering, lift block and steering arm
* chevy 2 wheel drive steering box with redneck ram hydraulic assist steering. (steering box rebuilt and ported by redneck ram. Power steering pump also ported by redneck ram) approx $500 w/ receipts
* has 2 stabilizer shocks on tie rod as well as hydraulic ram.
* approx $2300 invested into front axle not counting steering mods
Rear end:
* dana 70 hd
* has been completely rebuilt with Detroit locker and 5.86 gears.
• approx $1500 invested
Suspension:
* tough country 4" chevy lift springs in front.
* superlift 8" chevy lift springs in rear.
* King 2.5" remote reservoir shocks 14" travel in the front and 12" travel in the rear approx $1500 new
* Upgraded the front shackle mounts in frame to polyurethane (original rubber wouldn't hold up)
* Off road design 6" rear shackles.
Misc:
* Rci 32gallon fuel cell. I replumbed everything with 3/8" fuel line all the way to the engine, And has roll over valve. Had to remove rear seats to fit fuel cell. I planned to install bucket seats in the rear. I have rear seats if interested.
* Onboard air system. Has (2) 5 gal air tanks under the driver side. pressure regulated engine driven air compressor. compressor is an older converted ac compressor, York type with internal lubrication. The air will run a ½" impact long enough to take off tires, and there is enough stored air to set tire beads
* Has tube style front bumper with receiver and old kc lights.
* set up for duel battery's
* duel electric cooling fans on a switch and automatic thermostat.
* Auxiliary transmission and power steering coolers
* Installed hydro assist brake booster and one ton brakes. It will easily lock up all 4 tires on dry pavement. ( A rare thing with 42"tires) has wildwood adjustable proportioning valve and one way check valves.
* Has pull points front and rear, 2" reciever in front bumper.
I am asking $6500. make me an offer, it has to go. I have a lot of the receipts for the big dollar components on this truck. I have a break down of $10,000 that I have invested in parts only.
