Used 1973 Vw Gold Mining Logo Bus - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Grass Valley, CA

This was a bus that was used as a gold mining rig for a claim in Georgetown, California in the late 70s and early 80s. Cool piece of history. It is a rare non walk thru 9 seater. Most bay window buses are walk thru and the middle seat is usually a 2 seater. Still has its heavy duty home made roof rack that ads a great touch to it. The logo/decal is still in good condition and very readable. The bus has been sitting a while and is currently not running. I put a good battery in it and it cranks over but wont fire up. It was running when parked. The body is in really good condition. The nose has never been punched in. Very solid bus for the most part. Front floors need patch work. Cargo floor looks worse then it really is, mainly surface rust from moisture being trapped under the floor mat, but it will need some work as well as you can see. Cargo floor supports underneath are very solid, not rotten. With all that said it is a project but not much of one. I have a clean title in my name. Currently on a non-op at DMV so no back fees.
